This is what both the Republican and the Democratic parties do best. They claimed Axis powers conducted experiments on people, and yet they have conducted experiments on the American people. The results are lives and monetary systems ruined. Adding insult to injury, they are asking the oppressed American people to give back the money they had lost in this stupid experiment.

This will separate out the conservative who think the WoT is truly the biggest issue vs. those who just say it is.

I am nearly a single-issue voter to the extent that I am one of the few people who still vigorously defends Bush, and who enjoys reminding liberals about the path Joe Lieberman has taken. Yet, I am not a conservative to the extent that things like abortion, gay marriage, etc. just don't inspire me to come out in support of either side. Even Amnesty for illegals, while it is certainly something I don't like, I just am not as bothered by it as by the actions of Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups.

I like McCain as he will be very good for the WoT. In fact, the 'surge' made me like him a lot more than before.

Thus, many of the conservative with whom I have agreed with for the last 6 years are now moving away from me.

McCain is my candidate, as I am a WoT voter first and foremost.

Ron,
Yes, I'm back and getting a little more interested in this race. At first, I was very disappointed in the field as you can tell from my previous entries. I'm still not real excited, since no real leader has emerged. However, it is interesting to see how these candidates mold themselves in trying to capture the biggest piece of the pie.

I see you are backing Huckabee. I'm still not sure about him as his record on immigration and criminal pardons looks real weak. He also raised taxes in Arkansas. We'll see how he comes out of this scrutiny.

Romney has changed through the years. If you take the time to go to his website he explains why he changed. He is a decent man with a clean record and was a good governor who kept taxes down. On the other side Hillary wants socialzed medicine and education it will cost trillions. We already lose forty percent of our check to taxes if she wins and adopts all those freebie program they will take sixty percent of our check. The programs will be expensive and You will pay for the,. I like Tancredo for Vice President.

These idiots terrible attempt at terror may blow the lid off a lot of organizations. If they had succeeded these attacks would have been devestating, but their failure gives us opportunity.

Tens of thousands of immigrants have waited years for their turn. They are from Japan and China and Sweden, Germany, Brazil, Thailand, Russia, and Poland.

They have waited like good law abiding citizens and should be at the top of the list. They would not upset the balance of diversity like the sixty million Mexican illegals that want to bring their relatives. They would change the DNA, the customs, the style, music, television programs and landscape with Spanish language. Don't believe it? Try reading your directions to put a product together you have to wade passed the Spanish first. In Texas around the big cities there are six to ten Spanish channels on TV.

If Congress was interested in securing the borders it would have been done by now. No President has done it. But it is supposed to be an executive decision. Tell the Senate to pass the part only on securing the border as a sepearate bill. We aren't so gullible to accept it all because it is one bill.

The President has sold us out. He signed a trade agreement to join the US, Canada, and Mexico in a Union and now has signed one with Europe. Racing toward a one world government. If we allow the NAU and the immigration bill past it would be the beginning of our future as a thrid world country. The globalization has hurt us already and they want to further redistribute the wealth of the world the US would make less and third countries more.
Hillary wants to federalize education and healthcare instead of going with the mandatory healthcare insurance for all she wants to government to foot the bill. Who would pay for it? We would in ever higher taxes all the while getting more and more restrictions on us. It sounds like communism.

Comment on Hatred of America! by lionking

Anonymous,
my response to your comments as follows:

you said "Every Indian knows all the stuff you have recently learnt about Bangalore and India. I can write an epic about problems in India, what purpose is it going to serve? Are you doing anything about it?"

If every Indian knows all this stuff, why don't they fix these problems already. After all, it's caused by the same Indians, no?

Yes, I'm doing something about it. I discuss the problems with people everyday; I write about it on the blog, the good and the bad. However, I feel like the lone voice, since people like you just want to ignore the problems, and let it pass. Well, that's certainly not going to work now is it?

You said: "No matter how much you sing songs about America, you will remain an Indian, so please chill out. 80% Americans are white, rest dont matter that much to outsiders.

What does race or color have to do with America? America is made up of all the nationalities in the world. Maybe you didn't know that, but Americans are all immigrants from one place or another. Sure the British got there first, but later the Italians, Germans, Irish, Greeks, and other Europeans. The last century, the Chinese, Indians, Mexicans, and others. Basically, America represents every color, nationality and race on earth. Please learn the history before making naive statements. Does this mean that they "remain" Italians, or Greeks, or Germans? Your statements are ludicrous.

You said: "...No country feels ‘gratitude’for another. The power and influence that USA has enough gratitude for its good deeds. On top of that you want everyone to shed tears of gratitude."

This statements really sum up the true feelings in your heart and mind. No one expects "tears of gratitude", and my article did not say that. However, as a decency in humanity, I do expect appreciation for the help. If someone helps me in my time of need and provides for me, I am not going to forget that for the rest of my life. And why would I show hostility towards the same person that helped me in my most desperate time? It goes against all human civil and decency behavior. Your statement is exactly what my article is all about. The hatred sentiment towards America is unfounded and dumbfounded. It is a dis-respect for yourself. If a society and culture wants to improve, it needs to start respecting itself and others.

You said: "The point is that there are both positive and negatives, USA is not an angel for India, though people admire it enough but you can see only if you take off your ‘I am a proud American’ blinkers."

No one said that the USA is an angel for anyone. But the point is, that USA has probably done more than anyone else has done for India. At the very least, the Indians should not forget that, both politically, or socially. They need to show appreciation and certainly not vitriolic hatred.

Yes, I am proud to be an American. More importantly, I feel fortunate that a country like America does exist, and that my family was able to immigrate there. I thank God for it. A country that is not perfect by any means, but which allows and accepts people from all over the world to come, enjoy freedom, and prosper by working hard. Am I wrong to feel this way? I don't think so. Only in your eyes, but then you've got your little blinkers on that are truely blocking your vision.

You said: "I hope you are not like a typical Indian turned American who is more loyal than the home grown American just to show how much he is ‘not Indian’. I just hope. Because we have seen many many such examples."

Not sure what you mean by that. Am I loyal to America? You bet I am. But not for the reasons you wrote. I don't need to show how much I'm "not Indian". I don't even know what you are talking about here. By birth, I'm an Indian. I don't need to hide that in anyway. If you have 'typical' friends that do that, then you need to discuss it with them. I don't feel that way at all.

my response to your comments as follows:

you said “Every Indian knows all the stuff you have recently learnt about Bangalore and India. I can write an epic about problems in India, what purpose is it going to serve? Are you doing anything about it?”

If every Indian knows all this stuff, why don’t they fix these problems already. After all, it’s caused by the same Indians, no?

Yes, I’m doing something about it. I discuss the problems with people everyday; I write about it on the blog, the good and the bad. However, I feel like the lone voice, since people like you just want to ignore the problems, and let it pass. Well, that’s certainly not going to work now is it?

You said: “No matter how much you sing songs about America, you will remain an Indian, so please chill out. 80% Americans are white, rest dont matter that much to outsiders.

What does race or color have to do with America? America is made up of all the nationalities in the world. Maybe you didn’t know that, but Americans are all immigrants from one place or another. Sure the British got there first, but later the Italians, Germans, Irish, Greeks, and other Europeans. The last century, the Chinese, Indians, Mexicans, and others. Basically, America represents every color, nationality and race on earth. Please learn the history before making naive statements. Does this mean that they “remain” Italians, or Greeks, or Germans? Your statements are ludicrous.

You said: “…No country feels ‘gratitude’for another. The power and influence that USA has enough gratitude for its good deeds. On top of that you want everyone to shed tears of gratitude.”

This statements really sum up the true feelings in your heart and mind. No one expects “tears of gratitude”, and my article did not say that.

Grow up. No country feels 'gratitude'for another. The power and influence that USA has enough gratitude for its good deeds. On top of that you want everyone to shed tears of gratitude.

Did u forget how USA sent its seventh fleet to intimidate India during the Bangladesh War, does it not arm our hideous neighbour Pakistan to maintain a balance of power? The point is that there are both positive and negatives, USA is not an angel for India, though people admire it enough but you can see only if you take off your 'I am a proud American' blinkers.
