I believe we finally got the amnesty bill to RIP. At least for now. Hopefully. But I know, Bush, and amnesty lobby will not rest until they have their way. The open border lobby is determined to get what they want. How else do you explain that both parties were trying so desperately to pass this in the middle of the night without having full hearings.

I have lost all hope in George Bush. The way he tried to ram it down American people’s throat, was really pathetic. There was virtually no support even within the Republican party in the country, but the beltway politicians tried to score points with the Hispanic community anyway.

Top Republicans chumming it up with Kennedy was really sickening. On top of that, we had Lott buddy buddy with Feinstein. It showed politics at its worst.

On the good side, I’m so glad we have people like Michelle Malkin, who spearheaded the call to resist the powerful and protest vehemently against this. In the end, the people prevailed. Common sense prevailed.

As an immigrant, I am appalled at how a group of people can violate the sovereign laws of a country and get rewarded for it.
