Looks like the Dems are taking control of the House. Senate maybe gone from Republicans as well, but by a small margin. At least there is one silver lining in the deep dark clouds:
Will analyze the results in a later post. Suffice it to say, the Republicans need really look at their candidates and the scandals, and start cleaning the house, if they hope to get any seats back in 2008.
Bush did his job in terms of losing the base, as I predicted 3 months ago. Major weaknesses in uncontrollable spending, pork barrel spending, and illegal immigration issues broke the grass roots back. Rest of the damage was done by Delays, Abramanoffs, and the Foleys.
